I finally had the chance to go to one of the more burnt parts of the woods after the summer fires. It was eerie to say the least. From a distance these burnt plots of land look like scars along the surface. But when you walk through it you feel the emptiness that was left behind.
But these scars will heal. And the new life that will grow in its place will be healthier than ever. I am excited for that day.
Incredibly proud to work alongside my friend @theaustinmccann. He saw the need for the homeless and worked so hard to help. If you don’t already know his company @openthreadsocks gives a pair of thick warm socks to the homeless when you purchase a pair from his site🔥
Sharing my art with all of you is such a gift. I am so thankful for the positive vibes everyone is sending- they honestly keep me motivated to paint and share my story! My daily life is nothing extraordinary. On a typical work day, I wake up, make coffee, work on the computer in my pajamas until around noon, and then transition into painting. Eventually I take a break and go outside for a walk or run. Then I return home and keep painting into the night. It’s really pretty simple and not all that glamorous. Sometimes it’s lonely. But most of the time I really like this routine and I am continually honored that I have the ability to share pieces of my dream with you all! ✨As thanks, I am giving away a free sticker of this painting with every order placed in the next 24 hours on my site (if you order today they should arrive before the 25th).
