That's me measuring the drop at Taft Point. It's almost as high as El Capitan (2307m), the mountain on the other side of Yosemite Valley which is illuminated by the sun. To sum up: it's going down far! 🙈
Sunrise above the clouds. Have you ever watched the sun going up on a mountain top? 😉

Double trouble. I wonder what this looks like now covered in snow...
The Dune Life Trail @whitesandsnps wasn’t too hard but enough work to feel like you did something. Oh, and it included spectacular views, of course.
Hit the Load, Jack
This is not the first time you get to see the sulfer carriers of Mount Kawah Ijen around here.
But on this occasion and on the left side of the picture, you get to realize a little bit better how high the place really is above the valley, making it all the more difficult for the carriers to take their loads to their destination.
Remember that altitude is your ennemy if you're hiking and don't want to get tired, especially when you have to carry more than your own weight on one shoulder.
Plus, I really enjoy how fancy this guy is, wearing a t-shirt the same colour as his load.

Mucha gente ve el atardecer e inmediatamente se va, sin saber que minutos después de que el sol baja los cielos se transforman regalándonos otra increíble postal 🏞
"If we were meant to stay in one place, we'd have roots and not feet." -Rachel Wolchin 👣👣👣 The rice fields in Ubud are so beautiful and peaceful. I loved walking through these fields in the rain, there was something calming about it. The mud didn't hurt either. #nofilter
